Swapping your IQ tokens from Ethereum to Polygon (Matic) and from Polygon to ETH
In this guide, we will demonstrate how to swap your IQ from Ethereum (ERC20 to Matic).
To use the bridge you will you need to have IQ on ETH in the Ethereum wallet Metamask. You will also need Ethereum in the Ethereum wallet Metamask to use the bridge you'll probably want to have at least $20-50 worth of Ethereum for gas fees.
Go to the Matic Wallet site https://wallet.matic.network/ and Click "Sign In with Metamask"
A Metamask notification will popup click "Sign" on the signature request to log in.
You will then arrive at this page:
Click the "Ether" button then search for Everipedia and select "Everipedia (IQ)". If you don't see any Everipedia (IQ), your IQ might be still going through the bridge from EOS to Ethereum you can also check our guide on transferring IQ from EOS to Ethereum.
You will then arrive at this page:
Select and Click on "Everipedia IQ"
You will then arrive at this page:
Choose how much IQ you'd like to swap over then Click "Transfer"

Click "Continue"

This Metamask notification should then popup:
Click "Confirm"
The approval transaction will be accepted after a few minutes (could take longer depending on Ethereum network congestion) and you will then arrive at this page:
Click "Continue"

Click "Confirm"

Once confirmed the transaction should take around 7-8 minutes to complete, once completed you will arrive at this page:
Step 2: Switching your MetaMask wallet to Polygon (Matic Mainnet) Network?
To switch your MetaMask to Polygon (Matic) Network, you will find at the top “Ethereum Mainnet” Click on it to open the drop-down menu.
At the bottom of the list, you’ll find “Custom RPC”. click on it.
The screen below will appear, Enter these details and then Click “Save”:
Network Name: Matic Mainnet
New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.matic.network
Chain ID: 137
Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.matic.network/
You are now connected to the Polygon (Matic Mainnet) Network!
