Swapping your IQ tokens from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain

In this guide, we will demonstrate how to swap your IQ from Ethereum to BSC (ERC20 to BEP20).

To use the bridge you will need to have IQ on ETH in the Ethereum wallet Metamask. You will also need Ethereum in the Ethereum wallet Metamask - to use the bridge you'll probably want to have at least $20-50 worth of Ethereum for gas fees.

Go to the Multichain bridge site https://multichain.xyz/ and click "Connect Wallet".

A Metamask notification will popup. Click "Connect" on the signature request to log in.

You will then arrive at this page:

Click on the token logo under the "From" section and select "IQ (Eth Mainnet)". If you don't see any Everipedia IQ, your IQ might be still going through the bridge from EOS to Ethereum - you can also check our guide on transferring IQ from EOS to Ethereum.

You will then arrive at this page:

Select "IQ".

You will then arrive at this page:

Choose how much IQ you'd like to swap over then click "Transfer" (mind that the minimum swap amount is 1530 IQ)

This Metamask notification should then popup:

Click "Confirm"

The approval transaction will be accepted after a few minutes (could take longer depending on Ethereum network congestion) and you will then arrive at this page:

Step 2: Switching your MetaMask wallet to Binance Smart Chain

To switch your MetaMask to Binance Smart Chain, you need to find “Ethereum Mainnet” at the top.

Click on it to open the drop-down menu. At the bottom of the list, you’ll find “Custom RPC”. Click on it.

The screen below will appear.

Enter these details and then click “Save”:

Network Name: Smart Chain

New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/

ChainID: 56

Symbol: BNB

Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com

You are now connected to the Binance Smart Chain!

You will then arrive at this page:

To see your IQ tokens scroll to the bottom and click "Add Token".

You will then see this Metamask popup:

Fill in the "Token Contract Adress" section with "0x0e37d70b51ffa2b98b4d34a5712c5291115464e3". The other sections should autofill in. Then click "Next".

You will then see this Metamask screen

Click "Add Tokens". You will now be able to see your BEP20 IQ tokens on Metamask.
